It's everyone for themselves/leftover night here. I made breakfast (sausage/hashbrowns/fried eggs/toast/jam), and did the dishes this AM. Then I made steakum sandwiches and crispy crowns for lunch. Kristi's fighting off a cold, so she's been napping on and off most of the day.

Just spent 2 hours building a temporary fence and taking down a section of my fence so the utility company can put in power for the house being built behind me. I don't have a problem doing this, but i wouldn't have had to spend 2 hours of my time if some DAMF could just pick up the phone and notify me when they are on their way so i can come take down the section of fence for a few hours while they trench in the electrical line. NOOOOOOO they can't do that, instead they told me it had to be down for 2 FUCKING WEEKS!

And that sucks...reminds me of that cable company crap, on a much bigger PITA scale. I'd be too.

I'll be calling them tomorrow to find out who to submit my bill to. My company gets $100/hr for my time, so that is what they will get charged for my time. 2 hours to put it up, 2 hours to pull it down and $100 for materials. FUCK THEM!

 

I think I'd prefer conoeing with the gators. They usually don't move, and when they do, they jump in the water and head out of site. My brother-in-law took plenty of pictures, but he hasn't e-mailed them to me yet. I've never even seen a bear in the wild, not sure how I'd react. I've always wanted to see one. Closest thing was bear prints all over a dumpster in a campground.
