I have a 2012 long bed, and have recently lifted it. 3' spacers and a block in the rear. revtek spacers. I'm happy with the look, but truck rides pretty rough on the small harsh bumps. also has bump steer pretty bad. Put on new upper control arms also. (light racing). Put those on mainly so front end alignment could be set correctly. At this time I dont really wanna do a big 6" lift, the look it has now is great. So what lift should I change to in order to correct my driving issues? I drive a lot of highway miles and not too much off road. Most popular seems to be Billstein 5100's and an add a leaf in the rear, or a block. But not sure if that's the best for what I'm looking for. ANy input is appreciated.

I'd probably go spindles and Allpro standards if I had a Prerunner and didn't need to haul at all

Having said that , I'm not an expert on either of them , I went full OME kit , so I'll let some others chime in .

I think OZ nailed it, Spindles and a new leaf pack, you could even go back to your stock UCA as spindles retain the factory geometry.

I've got a 2007 PreRunner and am looking at Maxtrac Spindles and a 3" all pro leaf pack. Best thing about Spindle lifts are we get to keep the great stock suspension but get 4" of lift for a very reasonable price. There is a thread on spindle lifts, just for us 4x2/PreRunner guys.
Btw not to hard to install yourself, hardest part are putting on the exended brake lines.
Although I've got my eye out for a 07-11 White DCSB TRD 4x4.

Very helpful. Thanks. Wish I would have asked these questions before, but ya live and learn. One thing I forgot mention is that I am running 20" rockstars with 33" tires. I was wondering if the 20's would also have something to do with roughness on the pothole type bumps I hit.

Larger rims and less sidewall height will make the ride seem stiffer. P rated will also ride smoother than Light Truck tires. LT tires have a stiffer sidewall. There should be a load index on the tire somewhere.
