Hey all i tried to post this earlier but it didn't work for some reason...

Hey guys, as luck would have it 3 days after i picked up my brand new 2012 Taco TRD i had a deer run out onto the road, head butt the side of the truck and then run away ! Now i have a body guy that said he can work the dent out of the rear panel but he needs me to get the plastic color match tire well cover off. Has anybody removed one of these yet?? Is it just bolt on, or are there clips and glue or something i should worry about, i noticed on mine that there is a black rubber trim (gasket) along the side ??

    ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT...

    Thanks

there are 7 or 8 orange christmas tree clips that hold this on. If you're gentle you can pry it off working your way around the fender. These clips are pretty brittle and break easily, so just be careful.

You're about guaranteed to break those clips. Fastenal and toyota carry extras. Couple bolts underneath too.

Check the expanded parts diagram thread for a picture with part numbers.
