I bet. That fast with such a low car on a street would be sketchy. Would have to be one smooth street.

You have highways that smooth? That's why the commercial was filmed on an actual racetrack that is purpose built with no bumps.

Yeah. He was telling me at that speed you pretty much lose your steering (goes soft). You pretty much have to HOPE your going in the direction you want and HOLD ON

    oh dear...

you need these things (or something similar)

    Transmitter and reciever

    Charger
    http://www.hobbypartz.com/thac6smbachw.html

Batteries (I would recommend you get 3-ish, and you'll have to change your connectors to the traxxas connectors)

I believe it. My scrt10 on a 3s is stupid fast. I would guess around 50mph. Couldn't imagine that speed.

Waiting for my bigger pinion gear to come in for my SC10. stepped up from 16 to 18. Hoping to get some top end out of it. It's a 3800kv Castle 1410. I'm hoping I have room to gear it up even more . . .

That charger will work just fine. A few guys at the track use those. Seem to work well with no problems.

I've seen 4S run on the VXL before. I wouldn't recommend it, though...

I think on the slash 4x4 you can change the gearing (with provided pinion) and run 3S and they go 60, yeah?

You can do it with 2s. My book doesn't "recommend" 3s

I still haven't figured out how and where the pinion goes to make it that fast
