Need pics of the truck with the powder coated wheels

 

Dont think Im gonna powder coat them, Thinking Probably gonna hit them with bedliner. Not sure yet.

In other news, I got a peak at my new bumper today...

 

Plasti-Dip??

 

Considered it, guess it doesn't hold up to well. Thinking seriously about bed liner, but its that or paint for sure.

 

Hmm.. I was reading that it held up pretty good. I mean either way if it scratches or rubs off you can always redo it though. I like the idea of PLasti-Dip cause you can always change colors for a quick make you feel like you got new stuff lol. That's probably how I'm gonna do my badging so if I feel that my truck needs something new I can just change those lol.

 

Plasti dip is nice for a quick change, but if you can peel it off, so can rocks and other surfaces your wheel may touch. With a paint or bedliner its much more likely to just scratch or chip. Here is what I based my choice of coating on.

Yeah bed liner looks better from what I've read so far actually.

Yea for sure man! I'm subscribed, no doubt. I like that you went with the bright green badges. Different than everyone elses.

 

Yeah, that was kinda what I had in mind when I started, but its grown on me even more now. There will be some more green accents being added soon. Just waiting for stuff to get here so I can get it colored and installed.

 

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get your suspension done? or did you do the install yourself?

Have you added a false bottom in your center console compartment yet to hide a pistol?

 

I haven't yet, but i saw the right up on it yesterday. Definitely something I am considering.

Thanks man. I used Rustoleum florescent green. But you cant copy me we live far too close together. There can be only one Tacoma with green accents! JK, but seriously...

 

i know i know! LOL damn it i was thinking a white shackle with a green pin. we'll see, i may have to get a new idea
