As much as I'd like to make a run at the Rubicon I don't think the 4Runner will be as armored as I'd like it to be for the Rubi so...

I was considering making a run through Nevada. This would be a Overland Expedition trip with camping and sightseeing. I'm looking into areas within close proximity to Reno for this. I'm hoping it's a pretty easy run so stock 4x4's with minimal modifications can make it.

If there's enough interest in it I'll start looking at dates and compiling a list of necessary equipment for a trip that should span 2-3 days.

I will say now that there will be a zero tolerance for drinking while driving. I don't care if alcohol is consumed when we stop to camp but ensure you're sober enough when we start off in the morning.

I would be interested. Sounds like a great time. This trip will give me a better idea of what I may need for these type of trips. I have most, if not all the necessary gear but need in a way a shake down run before I go on the big one.

Its been a while since I have driven on the playa :) Depending on dates and weather, I would be up for something like this. I am a 4x4 noob, and the trails I have been on out there were 4x2 capable.
