So, Relik hooked me up yet again, this time with some nice firestick coax to go along with the antenna! Picked up a spring for the antenna and might attempt to install the coax/antenna tomorrow morning before possibly heading to downtown for lunch with a bunch of funny looking dudes with cool ass trucks, and Fink.

Got off the phone with 4XI a while ago. Total w/ shipping for their non-winch front bumper $460.....not baaaaad...

Adam from 4x was really cool and very polite handling the order....cant wait to get it!!!!!

 

they have fantastic service, and i am still stumped at how their shipping costs are so low.

 

Yeah, the shipping for the bumper was $119...and he quoted me like $70 to ship sliders, hell yeah...will definitely be going with them for sliders.


And I went w/ the one bend stinger opposed to a two bed or no bend at all.

CANT WAIT!!!!!

 

So I rode the Osceola NF this weekend, for the first time.
Over all not that wet, right now.
a couple of water crossings that were over 3ft deep....
some trails are tight/narrow (scratched my new taco)

Over all rating 5 of 10
better than Ocala NF

 

Will you post pics and install data. I'm debating this or arb.

I got the 4XI mostly for the price, but also because of their reputation and the fact its 100% made in USA. And the fact that its DOM and HREW is nice so its strong where it needs to be without being overkill.

 

Just mounted my 2 foot firestik! Think it looks great right in the center, used Colins in rail mounting bracket, which works great also! Still have to finish the wiring.

Back in the sunny state...and its good to be back.

Not too bad of a trip out to colorado, unfortunately the weather didnt cooperate too well and ended up snowing once we left. So basically it was typical spring skiing conditions with icy shit in the morning and slush in the afternoons, sweating my ass off all day.

Good time tho.


Now its time to get the boat back and get it ready for the cobia run!

Thats the mount that colin makes, picked it up from him at citrus, works great.

Colin, how much for one of those mounts?

 

At one point i even considered not putting it in the rails, had i picked that route i still could have used his mount just bolt it in place using the holes that are in the mount. Glad i used the rails though.

Just went to downtown for lunch with Ohohvette (David), K9, JohnW, and the former taco driver Fink, i was wondering if i would get any noise from the antenna going down the highway, but it was nice and quiet.
