Is there any difference at all between the two other than the bodies and possibly body mounts? If so I might go with the SC8e because the cage and body both fit on the apache SC.. Which could possibly mean the C1 body would fit on the SC8e

If it were me, I'd go with the truck but I would get the nitro SC8

Your correct, here is a crappy pic of the first one I ever had, prolly 85' or so. Was big as a shoebox and still had to have 4 AA batteries onboard, (no BEC). But, it beat the hell out of any "wiper" style out there.

There are a few differences. Based on what I see on Hpi's site, the C1 body will not fit the Apache SC or SC8.

Yea, the C1 has 5 body posts in odd locations. You can see where they are in that unboxing video I posted a few pages back.

Nice. Brushless is a verry fun upgrade for the SC trucks. :D

Get the losi xxx-sct. Much better truck to drive. Blitzs are decent but the diff is garbage and don't turn as well

Just gotta save up some money first
Always have been a fan of the Blitz
The Blitz Pro comes with the MIP diff, and if you upgrade to the HPI steering rack, the steering gets a lot better

I LOVE my Hot Racing Tranny. It makes checking the internals so much easier. I no longer have to remove the motor or bumper to tear open the transmission. Pictures in a bit :)
