    That's why i went back to a single 10 and i have it tamed way down. It provides a nice crisp clean thump, with out over powering everything else.

    I'm running 1000 watts to mine. Better to over power than under power. IMHO you can't beat the sound of 1 nicely tuned 10 or 12 with plenty of power.

    Mine stays on -12 or -10 out of a range of +12 to -12. But mine has a SQ thing where you can turn up 60 80 100 200 etc Hz. I've got the 60Hz on +12. Almost no bass gets to the stock speakers. I can go super loud and it still sounds really clean. Doesn't distort till 38 or 39 out of 40.

    plywood is a bad material to make a box out of. MDF is what you should use

    It's super thick.. like 3/8?good quality stuff. Sounds fine.
