I just received a 1995 Toyota Tacoma XtraCab from my father-in-law. It is an automatic, 2wd 2.4L.

I do not know anything about Tacoma's and thought this is the place to find out any information I need.

Getting the truck is bitter-sweet. He is passing away, but leaving me his truck . . . so, I'm going to do what I can to keep it working, and hopefully make it my own.

Don't get bummed out though, he seemed pretty thrilled that I was going to be taking care of it. - - - -

Thanks for the welcomes and condolences. I've been hearing a lot of good feedback about Tacoma's lasting a LONG time if you maintain them well. (Been in it for 2 days, and I must say it sounds and feels a lot better than my current car, "98 nissan 200sx" which is falling apart week by week)
