I was told today by a friend of mine that the Mickey Thompson Classic lock 15x8 would not work on my First Gen when i put them with the 33's after i lift it because of the -33mm offset and said i should have a 4" back spacing and they only have 3-5/16 back spacing? I dont know much about these things so ANY help would be appreciated before i spend the money on the MT's
    Thanks,
    Moonpie

-33 offset on an 8" wide wheel would indeed be around 3 5/16 backspacing.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Where is the wheel hitting that it won't fit? FYI - some 15 inch rims won't fit on a 01-04 first gen due to the caliper.

He was telling me that the wheel would rub the calipers would I be better off going ahead and getting 16" wheels?

If you really want 15" wheels check out black rock type d alloys. They clear the calipers and look really good. 15x8 with 4" backspacing.

A lot of people run 285/75/r16, which is 32.8"/11.2"/r16
