    Subbed. I love flashlights. I drive my wife nuts when I see a new one I like, she always says I have enough! No such thing.

    Anyway, The larger Maglites are disapointing with the light output, but I have always liked them, because I have beat the shit out of them and they never seem to break. I switched all of them over to led, and even still not that bright. I got one of these

    for Christmas, actually I got 2, so now I keep one in the truck and at home. Its a pretty nice flashlight, it puts out pretty good light, plus the things it does is pretty nice. 1 click turns it on, if you hold it in when you turn it on you can dim/brighten it. 2 clicks it strobes, and if you hold that in, you can speed up/slow down the strobe, 3 clicks is the night light it auto dims and when you move it, it brightens up to full power, 4 clicks is a signal light, and the 5th click it auto blinks out s.o.s. So it does some cool things. I like it alot. Not sure if I would buy it for myself for the price, but since I got 2 as a gift, I like it alot.

    Ha. I have an iPhone app flashlight that turns on the LED for the camera. Gets the job done in a pinch if I forgot my flashlight or just need something quick but awkward for crawling through brush at night. :D

    Finally got them uploaded! These are some of mine. The Maglite 2-D and the Novatac Storm are the brightest of the 4. Novatac Storm is brightest with 3 brightness levels and a strobe. Love it!

    I have one of those. I got one off of Amazon for under $25 bucks and it runs on AAA I believe. Its a good light for the price.

    I have one of these. The light output isn't amazing, 100 lumens, but I know it won't fail on me b/c its a maglite and I love the multiple features and how the features are adjustable on it. Took me a while to figure it out though...

    The way I read it, you have the option of a AA or the rechargeable. Someone one here knows more about rechargeables than I do for sure. The cree q5 is supposed to be the new big deal, I think. Leds keep getting more efficient. The newest Streamlights I bought are both brighter and longer running on the same batteries.

    The 3AAA lights will have longer run times than a 2AA due to the higher voltage available. They will also be fatter in diameter. I find them to be too large to carry comfortably between my fingers. I prefer 2AAA or 2AA.

    Its either. 14500 is the rechargeable equivalent of a AA buts its a high output rechargeable, not the same as a Ni-Cad rechargeable battery.

    With the 14500 you'll get higher output and longer burn time, but the light will def run hotter in your hand. A lot of manufactures don't warranty their product, such as Fenix, if you use a rechargeable equivalent battery if its not of their making.

    With a AA, I bet you'll burn time will be 20 min at most, and its gonna start tapering off real quick.

    yep i hve the iphone as well. i just got a lifeproof case for it. i would HIGHLY recommend getting you’r self one. since i see you are out doors allot. it’s a bit pricy but well worth it and way better than otterbox!! it’s water proof and everything. i was on the phone in the shower today. :D

    They don't warranty the Quark 123's though b/c the heat produced might damage the circuits. I see the quarks EDC'd a lot more b/c of the size so that's where I based my info from.
