I have been to many games in both and while the amenities are nicer in the new one I still preferred games in the old stadium. I could care less about a cigar lounge or a fancy overpriced steak joint looking over the ice. Just make the guy walk past my seat with beers and peanuts and I'm a pig in shit.

 

I'd rather there be less demand for kings tix. Cheaper = I can go to more games.

 

when i was in florida i paid 33 a ticket for row 3 tickets.... in edmonton those are 400 to 500 a ticket on a normal game, the habs game they were close to 1k per

 

scalper prices, face value for golds is $260.

Not exactly trash talk but did anyone else see the clip on ESPN today about banning fighting in the NHL? I think that is just stupid.

I didn't but I've heard talk about it. Sports are becoming retarded, and the nfl started it. Too many rules. I'm torn though becuase of the strength and size increase in professional athletes. But fighting is strictly up to the players who are involved, it's not a defenseless action like boarding, it's a fight. Who gives a fuck? It's a part of hockey. Has been for how long?! Let em brawl it out if they want.
