if it's safeway you got to buy a lot of groceries, and have a safeway card. Based on how much you buy you can get a few cents off a gallon. Add up those few cents and it can be cheaper gas. I say shop, then buy a 55 gal drum (exterior tank) and buy cheaper gas with the savings.

I work there and get 4x gas reward points on most stuff I buy. That's the only perk of working there.

    What kind of gun?

Depending on the gun you are purchasing, I might go new. I would go 9mm as ammo is cheaper which equals more shooting time. Don't make the mistake I did and buy a .45 as your first pistol. Buying ammo for that thing sucks but shooting it is a lot of fun. Have you ever shot a gun before? Might want to pick up a cheap .22 rifle to have some fun with. A .22 pistol is next on my list of guns to buy as well. Helps you work on the basic fundamentals for very, very cheap ammo.

I was pretty convinced for a long time I was going with a 9. And got the chance to shoot a few of the TW members. (I really like the accuracy and feel of the 9's)

But I am now thinking in the sense of stoping power. As I will be using this for home protection aswell. Every where I read the shoot once method doesn't apply to the 9's.

I had a crazy black chick in one of my classes last year. No matter what a teacher or student said, her manipulative mind would twist it around into you being a racist, followed by her flipping the fuck out in the manner above^

There's ton of debate between the 9mm and 45acp. Personally I would go with what you are comfortable with shooting. Go rent and shoot the 45 and compare both. You might like the 45 better. You may not. The 9 will be cheaper to shoot. Practice practice practice!! one in the dome will not matter whether it be a 9 or 45.
