    You have a freon leak. My whole compressor on the outside unit froze sunday. Had to call the land lord to get a HVAC tech sent out. scheduled for tomorrow.

    occasionally i get that response, but i think they are way freakin cool. Everyone has toes, and everyone has the roughly the same foot shape. so if they conform to the natural shape of the body, whats to weird about that? Unless you are afraid of your own feet or something lol. and yes, i have basically switched to wearing them as much as possible in place of normal shoes.

    and i have to explain the reason all the time because people want to know what the point is

    basically they let your foot do what it has naturally evolved to do with out getting in the way too much while still providing some protection. They have a 3.5ish mm rubber sole (and that's it, no support, padding or cushion) so you can feel everything you step on, your foot/toes can flex very very well, it forces you to run with a proper mid foot strike form which give you almost perfect balance, better stability and less impact and greater propulsion, they build your foot and leg muscles that probably have become weak and atrophied from wearing supportive padded shoes your whole adult life, and across the board they greatly reduce common running injuries
