The first day of spring is usually covered in snow here, but today pushed 80* as will the next couple days. Lots of budding is going on about a month early. Not used to seeing that around these parts, but I'm not complaining!

Pasture is greening up, the horses are loving that!

Willow is getting ready to shit sap on my vehicles!:(

Pussywillows are already fuzzy...I got pink ones and white ones! Birthday gifts from my wife a couple years ago! 8-10 feet tall already!

Crokus' are in full bloom. It's a little late in the day so they are closing up for the night.

Lilacs and tulips are starting too. The lilacs smell awesome.

I'm sure we will still have some snow or at least a frost or two, hope everything fares well. It's quite the teaser!:)

I love that we have had a warm winter. And digging these 80+ days!

"Today we set an all time high for the pollen count in Atlanta. This number, 9369, tops the mark set just yesterday.

But we will set another record today, a meteorological one. If we top 80 degrees today(it was 84), that will be 7 straight of 80 plus days in a row. That is a record for March, eclipsing the old mark set of 6 straight days set back in 1907.
These highs are running at least 15 degrees above the average."

I golfed today. Beat the boss by 6 strokes. Got 5 pars, 1 triple bogie, the rest were double bogies and a lot of single bogies. I guess my point is that "normally" the ball would be skipping of the frost layer or just getting lost in the snow this time of year!

I will admit to loving it though.:D

I'm actually waiting for the global warming argument. I don't know enough about it, but I do know that 75 years or so ago, there were some similar temps happening. Also, 4 or so years ago we had frost in June.

I choose to enjoy it for now, but I haven't stashed my long-johns yet!

God will get us when He wants to, not until then!:amen:

I almost gave it up last year. Not even my wife can get me so close to the absolute loss of control that golf can. Instead, I bought a set of King Cobra irons. I'm giving it one more chance!:D

Before giving up on golf. Take lessons. I did & just a few lessons helped me tremendously. Plus it helps your confidence. If you play better, you enjoy it more. Check for "Get Golf Ready" in your area. $99 for 5 lessons.
