Not too bad to install. I cut holes thru the back cross member of my truck's bed, but you could do something else like make L brackets that hang underneath the bumper.

Here's the thread that shows how I did it:

Thanks man! The difference between 265 and 285 duratracs is subtle but at the same time huge!

Truck is looking AWESOME Ben! Lots of pretty impressive upgrades. Your attention to detail and obvious patience are AOne also!

Are the tires a 285 or are they an actual 33"? Either way they fill the wheel wells nicely.

    Looking good!

thanks John, appreciate the good words! I have 285's. I agree, they fill the wheel wells perfect in my opinion. If I recall, I think actual 33"s are only available in 15" rim size..? But the 285/75/16's are 33.1" diameter or something like that.

Hey Ben, the words were earned for sure!!!

My 285/70/17's are advertised at 32.8" tall and 11.4" wide. I am supposing that is a non-static loaded measurement.

I do agree, they fill the wheelwells perfectly and I have minimal rubbing with 1.25" spacers and no cab mount chop!

Hey John, I was just re-reading through some posts in this thread and didn't see this before. Yup, I put your bumper cover on a while ago -- looks 1000x better! Thanks again!

I was just thinking a few days ago that I need to get rid of my old dinged up bumper that's occupying way too much space in my garage.

    Hey!

I'm from Washington too! I'm from marysville. I just recently bought my truck about 2 weeks ago and this past weekend I installed the toytec ultimate lift kit with the one piece coilovers in the front and I am getting a bit vibration at 5-10 mph and also a little bit at 20mph. Does that happen to yours as well? the 5-10mph vibration i had even before the lift, but now its a lil more noticeable. Anything else happen after you lifted it?? beautiful truck btw!!

There used to be a how-to thread for the 400W inverter mod but I tried searching for it and it looks like it got deleted for some reason. :notsure:

I would try to help tell you how but it was honestly so long ago I don't remember what I did. It involved taking out the center console and splicing a couple of wires together. I added an interior AC outlet (basically a wall plug) that I bought at Home Depot, that I wired straight to the stock inverter.
