Get Hollow Points for the 9mm. If you practice with your weapon, 1 shot is all you'll need

Wow that's a trip. Too bad they don't let you practice head shots in the ranges.

Looks like you understand the program! The maximum you can guy is 30 gallons though.

New. You never know it's history. Unless you are buying it for a collection

What Safeway do you work at? What do you do there?

From what I understand from the manager there it's 3X the reward points for employees. BUT: it's available to anyone as long as they sign up their card to gain more. The idea is to get those who don't shop there much to come in more often. So they offer 3x the points, hoping the customer will buy more groceries and get gas while they are there.

FYI from what I was told in training, (don't ask what kind of training please) the smaller caliber is best for home defense. Reason being is that something such as a .45 will be a clean shot THROUGH the person while with the smaller, less powerful one, the slug will bounce around inside, causing more disabling effect.

Go 9.... Cheaper Ammo = More Range time = Better placed shots.

Better placed 9mm shot > than poorly placed 45.

A well placed shot of 9mm +p+ JHP will stop almost anyone.

If you are comfortable with a 9mm get some +p JHP and you'll be gtg. As stated above shot placement matters, not so much on the size. For defense I'd always carry Hollow Points. Worse case if you miss a shot usually the wall can stop the rounds, ( i've seen this ) For work all we carry are JHP ( Jacket Hollow Points ) Between my co workers we mainly carry 40sw and one carries 45acp. Gun type also plays a roll too, full metal guns tend to have less recoil IMO versus plastic guns ( like my XD ) And most importantly take come classes in defensive shooting.

If you're ever in a situation in your home when you need to defend yourself and others; it's not going to be easy shooting at a moving target in low light situation and on top of that your adrenaline is running and if you just got out of bed you're probably not quite 100% awake yet. Many factors come into play, just got to practice practice! Bullseye Range in San Rafael has some good classes for defensive shooting if you go that route.

I work in the deli, not as a manager or anything. The 4x point thing was a limited promotion that they had for a while and I'm not sure if it's still on but was nice while it lasted.

Hey guys, I have a question for anyone in the San Jose/ Santa Clara area. I haven't had a truck in 4 years, until I got my 2012 Tacoma in February.
My question is, do any of you know any spots near the Santa Clara University campus where I can find mud to run my truck through?
It's finals week and I just want to do something fun when i'm all done.
Also, if it is illegal to do it at that spot, don't recommend it please.

Hollister hills is your best bet. About a 30-40min drive. Nothing around san jose is open to the public.

i have these calibers, .22, 9mm, 40 sw, and 45 acp. My 45 has just the same amount of recoil as my 40sw, My 9mm has way more muzzle climb than my 40sw and 45acp. I really enjoy shooting the 45. but ammo is expensive. Luckly i was able to score on a lil over $15 a box of 50, which irronically is cheaper than my 40sw

    ...too much shit to list.
Muzzle lift is not determined by caliber alone.

I know, i'm just saying that it's more difficult for me to group with my 9 as apposed to my 45.
