There is a company that makes shackles with green pins. I guess they are supposed to be really good... Can't remember the name but I bet googleing green pin shackles would find em.

Its the crab I was pinned with. I'm thinking about putting it on the plastic above my head unit. Which is why its there instead of in my wallet. What's wrong with it being in the tray? I'm not going to put anything on top of it...

Thanks. As for the shackles, yes. Sanded, primed, and painted. Clear top coat on the fairlead and Tacoma badge but not the shackles.

I'm really digging the switch panel  I might just have to look into one of these.

Thanks man. I was a little worried about cutting into the console, but just go slow and measure carefully. You can always remove a little more. Adding more is tricky...

    Quote from Expanded parts breakdown:
Thanks man. Feel free to check out my build page. As far as the bumper goes, its a brute force Fab with cutouts I designed. The paint is rattle can Rustoleum florescent green and clear top coat. What mods did I exceed expectations?
    -Rogu3

For the Rustoleum spray was that just the "professional grade rust resistant" can? Im thinking I might do my white truck, with light or dark blue accents, havent started with any mods yet though.
I was unaware you could put console changes in like your light switches and have never seen pics of a pioneer system like that in a taco. But ever since seeing your mods page I've googled everything and seen hundreds of examples of different things you can do with a tacoma.
Did the shackles and winch opening piece come with the bumper or did you have to pick those up seperately somewhere?

I think I'm the first person to put the switch blanks in like I did. Others have done similar things though. As for the paint, all it said was Rustoleum florescent. But I imagine any paint would work with proper prep. The winch opening piece is called a fairlead. The one I have is a smitybuilt aluminum one. I ordered that from quadratech and the shackles from a rigging supply company.

Well, I am not a bright green kind of guy but I really like a lot of the mods that I see. I dig the bed lights and the switch modifications. I like the Wet Okole seat and armrest covers. I like how well thought out a lot of your mods are. The Jack and Jumper cable storage, for example, is awesome.

I also like the color of your truck.

Like how you relocated the tacoma badge but hate the neon color. Where did you get the black speaker cover and the okele arm covers?
