    It's not, when you know which wire goes where, watch a video that you had no idea existed and are not 6'3'' trying to fit yourself under the dash by the pedals trying to splice 16 gauge wires together with one hand while you're fighting against the setting sun lol :crapstorm:

    @ Burgman: I wish I would have made a video of my install, probably would be banned from youtube
    @ TacoRojo: I figured as much, why get shit fixed when you can keep putting "band-aids" on? We were approved for $8M when we NEED $24M worth of work.

    I just did a Kenwood DDX516 in Joejoe's truck. You just ground the parking brake wire with the radio ground in the wiring harness...the easiest way to do it...I am pretty sure Pioneer is one of the only DVD units that require the relay:confused:

    parts and stuff

    my pioneer didnt need it. just moved the mute wire up a spot in the connector and ground the parking brake.

    alpine u need the pac tr7 which is essentially a relay but its real easy to wire in. like 3 wires into the radio harness

    Soo I have a pioneer... I don't have the speedometer hooked up... couldn't get rear cam to come on... and video doesn't play over 5mph. I also think I'm going to connect the xm module in hopes the GPS will work better.

    John, i have a pioneer and my video and backup cam work like normal. I used a relay for the video and the backup cam just plugs right in and then i connected it to my reverse light wire.
