    Ding! That's the answer.
    I've heard both rules. 1" rule, and 10% rule. I've read specs on some straps that state 10% and some that guarantee no more than 1".

    If I was in your shoes I'd just run another crossmember (if you didn't already) and mount the clevis to that.

    Not yet but that would be the plan. You think any negative if I mount the other end off the the lower shock mount bolt?

    I wouldn't, but i'm just anal retentive. I don't want my straps accidently folding towards the tires (and not have to run a bungi cord between the two) so I would want them the same direction Matt has his.

    I'd just weld a tab to the top of the axle housing.

    I found from doing my front clevis if you angle them just slightly they will bend whichever way you want

    IMO the 10% or 1" are ok but it's all on how much unsprung weight the limit straps are stopping

    also was at sdhq yesterday and had them call Fox to find out what stage my shoxks were in and they had no idea :facepalm: lol So I'm guessing they haven't built them yet and we ordered them a month ago haha

    I just talked to my welder and he said he moved the clamp for the pic. He knows better haha. I think it would have been okay though, he was tacwelding

    Ok so I'm installing a set of Camburg spindles this weekend and I'm looking at pictures and crap prepping myself.

    The bolts that go through the LBJ into the spindle...WTF are those? Are they just 12 point bolts?
