    it does have adjustable current.

but, the som'bitch is so old it would not do anything. nothing but turn on, would not change the current when the start button is pushed.:mad:

the guy i saw restoring a lipo was using a Thunder AC6....but was in NiMH mode while pushing 0.5A. it also had a readout on it so he could stop it at 6.00V

Greg, have you tried it in ni-cad mode, or even pb (lead acid) mode? You have just got to get a bit of juice in the cell some how. Now this, I'm just totally pulling from my ass, what would happen if you tried to balance the pack. The way I'm looking at it, is as it stands now, the pack is toast, so I'd try all kinds of stuff.

Darn. Too bad you aren't closer. I have a black widow nimh charger I would give you. Would be perfect to use. Want to exchange some decals and I will send it to you? I still haven't had a chance to look through them. Lol

I swear to God. Every damn person I've had some sort of interaction/communication with on the internet regarding R/Cs (with the exception of TW) is just... just... I don't even know what to say!

The more time I spend on places other than TW the more I see how this thread is some sort of anomaly. No pricks!!

URC is mostly kids, (not sure, but that may be by design, by the Jang) just saying.... RCTech has some very knowledgeable people, but some can be a dick. I "think" the reason is that's what those forums are, and that's ALL those folks have in there lives, not sure. Here we kinda jab back and forth, but first and for most, it's Tacoma truck forum. Another great forum if you want knowledge, and maybe even more than you bargained for, try RC Groups. Every topic is covered, well, and in more depth than you care to know...

Well of course I have no idea where that charger is in my garage. Too much truck, bike, r/c, car and tools. It's there but it's hiding. However, I do have this propeak charger that has been sitting around. I think it was like $60, don't really need it or use it anymore since I got the hitec charger. So if you want it Sock, it's yours. Only thing is that it needs a power supply or some alligator clips and you can use your car battery in a pinch. Some guys at the track charge all batteries under the hood, cracks me up.

So that is an option as well. Just doesn't balance lipos.

And for those of you guys who were interested in the tape I use for paint masking. I found some digging for my charger. Figures.

Great tape. No residue and doesn't come up when it gets wet from the paint.

Fuuuck URC. And Jang is a doooosh! That guy can eat my ass. The only cool people on URC is DanglingFury, MJB and Corrupt.

Rcuniverse is a good place, although I don't go on there much.

I think TW just needs a whole R/C sub-forum. We all already know everything. :D

DJ, if your like me, you will trip over that charger in a day or so, when your not looking for it. I wonder how many times I've run to Lowes (less than a mile) to buy something I know damn well I own, but can't find. Then, later the same day, or the next, I see the original "glowing" in plain site.
