Hey guys I just bought a new 2012 TRD Off Road 4x4 a few days ago and needless to say I'm in love! This is my third tacoma and by far the best of the bunch! I'm fairly new to off-roading so if anybody wants to show me the ropes on some local trails that would be fantastic! I'm jonesing to get her dirty! Anyways, here are a few pics! Oh, anyone know how to do BHLM? I don't think i'm comfortable with that.

Congratulations, I hope your 2012 is as good to you as my 2010 has been to me! It also was my THIRD Tacoma 4x4 Off Road... and the best!

Get to some dirt areas and play with all the drive modes... you have 9! Seriously, you will mainly be using three (H2 TRAC ON, H4 TRAC ON, L4 A-TRAC ON)... You can have no traction controls in all three (just like the pre-2009 Tacomas) to see how easy it is to get stuck if you allow it... Then turn the traction control back on and drive over the same spot with ease.

If you have any questions, just post here or PM me... should the anti A-TRAC gang show up to spoil our fun. LOL

Ha ha sweet! I have tons of questions but the only way I will feel comfortable is someone showing me what to do! I hurt my shoulder so I'm out of work for a few weeks so I have plenty of time to go hit some dirt. Just let me know when your heading out!

I live near San Bernadino so I'm close to Big Bear and Arrowhead which I hear has some fun places. Wish I had my truck when we got all the snow last week.

Well, I was upside down on my trade in for about 2800 so if I didn't have that I would have gotten the vehicle for 29700. So I don't know if it was a good deal or not. I walked away twice and they couldn't improve upon it so I figured it was the best they could do. The finance lady said they didn't make any money off of me which I don't really get but whatever. The truck also had the bed matt which not all of them had which was nice. Did you get the all weather matts I thought the off road was supposed to come with them? Hopefully, I didn't get hosed on my deal!

Yeah, came with tow package but not entune. They didn't have a model with that besides I don't think it was worth the price.
