Hi again. I am pretty much on a spending frenzy right now. I just ordered some Nfab nerf bars, and now I'm onto ordering an in-dash double din unit. Here are the two units that I'm looking at since there seems to be some great deals on them right now. My only dilemma is that I don't know which one I should get.

Eclipse AVN5510- I can buy this from Sonic Electronics for about $574.00 Shipped. It'll come with the bluetooth and ipod connector.

    or

Eclipse AVN6620- I can buy this from a seller on ebay for $589.00 shipped. It only comes with the bluetooth. DOES NOT HAVE IPOD CONNECTOR ($55 value).

I plan on buying the Eclipse BEC106 ($170.00) backup camera for either units.

I calculated everything out and the AVN 5510 is going to cost me a total of $744 before taxes. This will include the IPOD connector, bluetooth, and backup camera.

The AVN 6620 is going to cost me $820 before taxes. This will include ipod connector, bluetooth, and back up camera.

Is the 6620 worth spending the extra 80 something dollars?

hey, i was so close to pulling the trigger on this one, then read some bad reviews. I almost bought the pioneer, then read some bad reviews. I'm just going to stick it out and get a kenwood.

Which Kenwood are you sticking out for? I was looking at the DNX8120 and the cheapest one I could find was 1125 from Sonixeelectronix and it was 1125.00 without the ipod cable and backup camera. I think that's a little too much for my budget.

the only thing with the 5120 is that it's only a 6" screen :( I am looking for a 7".

I had a jvc with 7" screen and now have the kenwood, not much difference at all and I like the volume knob. Everyone who rode in my truck with the jvc who got a phone call was always like how the hell do ya turn this thing down for a minute????:D

I've got the 6620. aside from the bland interface I love the unit. It' hasn't given me any issues. I've got the backup camera, ipod connect, xm radio and blu tooth. Spent well over what you quoted. I'd say go with the 6620 since it's a newer model.

I almost got ripped off from ebay when buying my unit. luckily pay pal recovered almost all of my money. Be careful.

Might try looking a little harder for a deal on the 6620. I got mine WITH the iPod module for less than $600 shipped from an eBay seller.

    I vote 6620...

EDIT: Meant to include that everything was brand new with a 1 yr warranty from the seller
