    I hear ya, I'm hoping to get a 5D MKII later this year, maybe a 7D for a backup, the lens list alone (fish, 50mm, 100mm macro, 18-135mm, 300mm, 2x converter and maybe a big 400mm), if those are all 'L' lenses, you're talking 20K! I have a guy who does my printing and framing, he's really good and cheap. I've blown stuff up to 20x30, that's full frame CMOS territory.

    I might actually need to buy a laptop, I've always been against them, desktops are twice as powerful for half the price and more repliable. unfortunatily I'll actually need the mobility for tuning the taco.. Can't park on my 3rd floor living room :rolleyes:

    if you need something to game on or do a lot of video editing, etc (gpu intensive stuff) on, desktop is the way to go.

    if all you do is browse interwebs, watch vids, etc, laptop is just as good as desktop.
