Heya From the Florida Panhandle!

Heya all! Brand new to the site, came here looking for some info on removing my radio so i could fix it (3 yr olds and spare change rarely go well together!), found exactly what I needed, and fell in love with the site!

I am currently on my second Tacoma! My first was a black 2008 PreRunner V6 SR5 Access Cab. She was kept stock because I had a baby on the way, and shortly afterwards I was sent to South Korea for a year. She was sold just before my leaving (for more than the payoff I might add ) to CarMax in 2010.

After getting back to the States, one of my first stops was to the dealership for a vehicle, and I knew there was only one vehicle for me! Less than a week after getting back, I had my brand new "Magnetic Gray" 2012 PreRunner V6 SR5 Double Cab (I'd link pics, but we have all seen a stock Double Cab before!), and I love it more and more every day that I drive it!

I'm not a huge mod guy, I love the stock look of the Tacoma!... If I see something I like, I am more than willing to go get it. The first thing I am going to do is get better audio. I drive with the windows down and the music at max volume (iPod through an aux cable), and while the stock sound is passable, I know it can do much more! So, if anyone has a decent and relatively inexpensive sound set up, let me know! Also always looking for cost effective measures to improve mileage and other performance!

Thanks for the welcome all! The Tacoma community is unlike anything I have ever seen before... aside from the Jeep Wrangler community...

And to Banff... I am originally from Minnesota... Or as it is better known, The Great White North's boot...

To Mcdowell... I have heard there are some pretty good trails around here... for right now I consider making it through spring break traffic a triumph!

 

Hey man! Welcome to the forum! If you are looking for help with your system talk to ILikeTacosToo. He is in Pcola and has a great system. Maybe he can give you some pointers or steer you in the right direction. I visit Eglin every so often, maybe I'll see you around.

Any how I have been to both Minnesota and Florida and as someone like yourself who has experienced the winters up here, I liked Florida much better lol.
