You are correct Paul if the pressure is not equalized by some means of outside air you will have a big problem eventually

From what I'm understanding about what Bill said, everyone is right. By that I mean:

Yes, paul, if you have a sudden temperature change condensing the air in your vent, there will be airflow in the space between the X (axle, what have you) and the outlet.

However, Bill is saying (I think) that having true airflow through this vent is not the important thing, merely having a route for air to come in to equalize pressure in the first place, so you don't suck water in through seals. It's not like an intake or something where you'll actually need constant airflow. "Using" "stale" air already in the vent is just fine. (I quote those two words because obviously its a crappy analogy.)

But yeah, the way I always understood the diff breather mod, etc, was that you do not need airflow, you just want, as air compresses with temperature change, for there to be a path of least resistance for air to come in that can reach above the water. Otherwise, you have a sealed system that builds pressure and the path of lease resistance becomes the seals between your axle and water.

Um, did that make sense to anyone?

hey guys!! went down to see my local personalization guy and i had this made. if you guys are interested in a group buy he said if i get 12 or more shirts ordered he'll get them for 18 bucks a piece. let me know if its something yall would be interested in if so I'll make a thread about it and we can make any changes to the shirts yall might like. but any extra design added would probably add to the price. let me know what ya think guys!!

I'm also thinking about buying these rims and painting them black. theyre so stinkin cheap what do you guys think?

Morris Mountain is a fun place. We would defenintly have fun there. The only other one I know about is GAP. Its pretty fun to, but kinda small, would probably rather go to morris mountain. I dont know anything about the other places but they all look pretty good, except stony lonesome. My vote goes to hawk pride. What if we started a thread with all these places, and a few in tennessee, so we could all vote on them?

Hey guys, don't know if you remember but I applied to Auburn and just found out today that I've been accepted! So I'll most likely end up there next year as a transfer student.

Hope there's lot of outdoor stuff to do around there. Looking for any good flowing river within 2 hours....And some hiking/mountain biking.

Decent biking in chewacla though challenging at times. Incredible amount of fishing. I don't think there's a place you could live that is within 2 hours of so much fishing
