Family is everything! Some of the younger folks here are just going through what we all went through 40 years ago. Age and patients count for a lot.

George I don't know. I am 62 now and for the last 35 years we have had a family reunion on my mom's side every other year. We have family from Florida to NY State.

On my Dad's side we have been having a family reunion for the past 15 years or so, every other year.

I guess when your parents made to effort to visit their brothers and sisters when we were young all of us cousins have grown old together. Seems like at every reunion ther are more and more babies. That is a good thing.

I have one aunt left. When she passes we will be the old farts, and my cousins know this to be true. :D

My mom never got along with my aunt :( or maybe it was the other way around.... Barbara was kinda snooty  so we didn't get to spend much time together (cousins).

Think most of the problem was that grandma (dad's mom) lived with us yet "mom" didn't do enough for grandma as mom said that Barbara always said. :notsure:

My wife has a big family and we get together a couple of times a year. For the most part everbody gets along. On my side, I only have a sister, unfortunately, we've grown apart over the years.
I've got to get the lower unit on my boat fixed, then I'm ready for summer to. Trout fishing, Lake Erie Walleye, Perch, cruising around.

Evening All...growing up I thought everything in the family was hunky dory til I got old enough to open the closet door and see all the skeltons of family issues...wasn't what I expected...all of the previous generation have passed on and family is scattered around the U.S.of A. hard to get together for a reunion...wifes brother is a pita...took the wife, son, daughter-in-law and grand daughter over a year cleaning out the in-laws house when they passed...brother-in-law showed up to "help" 3 times...all those on here that have a good family relations, I am jealous...up in Seacaucus NJ for my volunteer weekend at the Beneath the Sea Expo...busy weekend, but get to see alot...Ken

WOW! just looked at a couple of posts, on walleye central, about the "Erie eyes". they seem to be really getting some decent fish from 8-10#+.

Erie is just a walleye factory! A friend of mine was out there last year and they were throwin back 5 pounders.......maybe someday I'll get there.

Welding an axle on the dock today so's I can put a couple wheels on it to make it easier to pull it out in the fall.

The best part about doing the "work-a-day" thing is beer-thirty on a Friday!
Tomorrow, my son, daughter-in-law and grand-daughter will be driving from Pittsburgh for a visit.
I've lived in Erie since I was 18. Lake Erie has come a long way since I first moved to it's shores. Fishing has picked up, the water is much cleaner and clearer. Since there was no ice on the lake this year, it won't be quite as crystal clear, but should be O.K. The Pennsylvania section of Lake Erie (about 60 miles) is some of the best small mouth bass fishing in the US.
    Have a good weekend everybody.

morning all: back to NORMAL . just received a "corrected" tax statement from the broker. also a bill from health insurer, stating that I owe for last months premium. :notsure:
got to contact the tax preparer, and see if I now need to file an amended form.
as stated in previous post, have to contact BC,BS, and see if HCTC sent them the premium. I sent the check to HCTC, and that is my obligation.

don't know why, everything just seems to be a problem, and it's not on my end, but I end up having to straighten it out. :goingcrazy: < AGAIN!!!!
