limewire has too many viruses ans trojans... i'd stay away

i download a lot from playlist.com, just do a search for a song and then click the link "vist site"... it will take you to the hosting site and at the top will be a frame with the file's address in green. copy and paste this into the address bar and it should open the song. then simply go to file- save page as and it will download to your computer

note- depending on how the server is set-up you might not be able to directly access each song file, but you keep trying differen't links you should be able to find one that works.

Some ISPs monitor the use of Limewire and Bittorrent. A friend of mine received a cease-and-desist letter threatening legal action from his ISP when he downloaded copyrighted material.

Download a torrent client like Bittorent or Utorrent. Then Go to a site like www.torrentz.com or www.monova.org and search for what you want and download it. Thats how you torrent.

I've torrented roughly 23GB of music in the last year or so and have no issues.

programs like peer guardian 2 will help keep those kinds of things from happening... i've been torrenting for over 2 years (around 1tb of data) and have never gotten caught.
