bolt action is much better to learn to shoot on......less money....and all of the power is dedicated to propelling the bullet from barrel.....nothig is wasted on ejecting shells and what not

I had my first ever, actual "Get off my lawn" episode last night. My daughter was out front talking to a kid whom I do not particularly care for at about 9:45 last night when another asshole drove up in his no-muffler V6 Camaro and decided that the parking brake would be the coolest way to bring his POS to a stop, skidding in front of my house. Bear in mind that we live on a quiet suburban cul-de-sac and this kid ran off the street showing off getting his POS stuck in my neighbors lawn on a school morning with kids waiting for the bus nearby. And the fact that he is known to be a general asshole. I marched across the lawn and rather bluntly asked him what the fuck was wrong with him. He said that he pulled the e-brake and I asked him what the fuck was wrong with the wide pedal to the left of the accelerator. He replied that he should have been more respectful of my house. I told him that he should be more respectful of all of the people in the neighborhood, especially since he and his Mom live there too. He tried to say that he was sorry, but I interrupted and said that he was not sorry, he was an asshole and needed to get the fuck out of there.

That's the model I have. Great rifle. Like Boyd, I've had it for +20 years. Many a squirrel and crow have fallen by it's hand.

Bull shit. This generation needs smacked upside the head every now and then. If you'd have asked him politely, he'd be laughing his ass off at you as soon as he turned the corner.

It's not about the 'sac. (snicker). The morning he ran off the road, he was showing off and goosed it going around the corner of my street. Being a dumb-ass, he lost control and ran over the curb onto the neighbors lawn, getting stuck in the grass. I saw him across the street and briefly considered pulling him out, but said fuck it, let him pay the tow. 5 minutes later, the kids around the corner would have been standing right where he went over the curb, waiting for the middle school bus.

    I bet you can get a used 22 cheap...maybe $100

    Good job old man. :D

lol - I quoted this because I though you said many a squirrel and cow...whoops

meh....women always feel bad for kids.

That's why men wear the pants with the belt on it. Act up and get smacked down :D

I think you did a fine job. Like Ben said if you did less you would of been laughed at. Now I bet you earned some respect momentarily.

i think you handled it well my first reaction would be to tell the little fucker you want to see what it is like to be an asshole and disrespect other people, then proceed to drive my truck up the hood of his piece of shit..... then again i may have anger management issues.....:anonymous:

My truck is in the shop. I didn't think the work van could make it over his hood. I will keep that in mind should there be a next time though.
