    Been fighting the Feds for years for VA Disability... got a lawyer, finally WON... well over 6 MONTHS ago... haven't seen dime ONE!

    On the other hand... the STATE found a mistake in my taxes for 09... and wants it all + interest and penalties!!!! They let it slide for over a year, and I have to pay all the BS fines. SO I tell them I'm not in a position to pay it at once... yesterday I get the F'ing garnishment letter. They are going to take the whole amount from my paycheck at once! WHo needs to pay mortgages etc!!!! I am really getting ready to become an ACTIVIST against this shit!!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

    I bet I get no interest or penalties from the Feds on the YEARS of backpay they owe me!!!! My Lawyer gets 33% of the back pay... I can't claim that on taxes... yet I was flat out denied without him, ad got 100% with him!!!

    You have a good tax guy... last year i sold some stocks and moved them to bonds. Well the irs wanted to tax me on on the sale of every stock, full price. I sold them for less than i bought so it was a capital loss not gain but even if i sold for a gain they would only get a piece of the gain not the total amount. All that said the irs wants and if you dont write it up exactly right theyll take but that doesn't mean theyre in the right.
