    Well,

Went in for the Rear Leaf TSB today, along with my 15K service.

Got a call back from Toyota saying my truck was done. Went and picked it up, and guess what?

Along with the 4leaf pack, THEY REPLACED MY TRD SHOCKS WITH NON-TRD SHOCKS!!!!!!!

After my head was turning red trying to keep my cool, the dealer finally realized they made a mistake and are putting my Bilsteins back in tomorrow. What a f*cking headache!

Did they trim your gas pedal too? Some have complained about the dealer doing it without notifying the customer first.

They did the same thing to me. I came in and found the black shocks on my truck. Oh, they also trimmed my weathertechs. The next day they put my old shocks back on and I ordered a new set of weathertechs on their dime.

The issue is that someone only read the first page of the TSB. The first page has a parts list that includes the black shocks. Further down in the document it instructs the dealer to not touch the shocks.

My dealer read the first page and ordered all those parts. That's right, I got a brand new full set of what was already on it, complete with installation. BTW, it was my fault too.

My friend went in to have the frame replaced on an older truck, well everything was ok for a week. Then his break fail and other thing started to fall apart. He also notice his spear tire was missing as well. Went to the dealership they told him all the repairs would cost him and there wasn't a spear tire when it came in. I saw it. It cost him $1500. To get his truck back on the road after the frame fix.

Good reminder about the gas pedal. I dont want them to trim anything. I am going in tomorrow and hopefully they dont give me a hard time on the leaf spring tsb.
I have a double cab with an off road package. should they be replacing the shocks at all? I am not sure what shocks I have. What parts are they supposed to replace?
