    You can fit mine on your truck and take them for a drive whenever you want. The only issue would be the backspacing on my wheels being different then yours.

    I'm waiting on a detailed report of your findings. I really hope you get better mpgs with the pizza cutters than the duratracs.

    I think I actually got better MPG with my 255/85R16 KM2s than I was with my 265/75R16 Firestone Destination ATs. Jury is still out, but on my first tank the gas light came on around 275 miles with the odometer not adjusted yet meaning I went further than that. Before I would get 250-260 miles before the light came on. There was about two hours of uninterrupted highway miles on that tank though so I'm holding judgement until I get a normal tank with my now properly adjusted speedo/odo.

    For Joe :D

    Beginning November 1, 2009, Section 40, Subdivision 1 of the Navigation Law shall be amended by adding new paragraph (e), which reads as follows:
    No owner or operator of a pleasure vessel less than twenty-one feet, including rowboats, canoes, and kayaks shall permit its operation, between November first and May first, unless each person on board such vessel is wearing a securely fastened United States Coast Guard approved wearable personal flotation device of an appropriate size when such vessel is underway.

    State Parks Urges Boaters to Be Wary of Cold Water

    New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation Commissioner Rose Harvey today reminds boaters of the dangers of sudden unexpected cold water immersion associated with early season recreational boating outings, especially on small boats.
    "As the days grow longer and the sun warmer, many kayakers and canoeists begin thinking about their first venture upon the water for the year," Harvey said. "In doing so, it's essential to recognize that water temperatures are still extremely cold and will remain relatively so throughout the spring months. The dangers associated with cold water and sudden unexpected immersion can quickly turn a pleasant day into a tragic one."
    The NYS Office of Parks and Recreation along with the United States Coast Guard strongly recommend wearing life jackets, especially while aboard small manually propelled watercraft. In fact, New York life jackets are required to be worn on any boat less than 21 feet in length between November 1st and May 1st.
    The physiology of cold water immersion includes an uncontrollable gasp reflex, causing hyperventilation, leading to unconsciousness or to swimming failure as limbs become numb. Having a life jacket on may keep your head above water and support your body should swimming ability fail or you become unconscious and greatly increases chances of rescue.
    Additionally it is recommended that all boaters:

    • Properly equip and carry essential safety gear, signaling devices and whistles;
    • Use of either a dry or wet suit when conditions dictate;
    • Consider taking a cell phone or radio with you, carried in a watertight bag;
    • Always let others know where you're going and when to expect your return;
    • Take a boating safety or paddle sport skills course; and always,
    • Refrain from mixing alcohol with boating.
    Should you find yourself in the water it is recommended that you stay with - and preferably on top of - your boat. Never overestimate your swimming ability, especially in cold water. All too often people underestimate the distance to shore or the effects of cold water and unfortunately drown while attempting to make it to safety.
    Of New York's 25 fatalities associated with recreational boating in 2012, almost a third of those deaths involved small manually propelled watercraft, occurring either early or late in the season when water temperatures were cold. :eek: In almost every one of those fatal accidents life jackets were not worn and in some cases weren't even on board at the time of the accident. The Coast Guard estimates that 80 % of all boating accident deaths might have been prevented had a life jacket been worn.

    Non-powered boats are not required to be registered in the State of Pennsylvania. (Canoes
    using either electric or gasoline motors are subject to registration requirements; contact the
    Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission for details.)

    However, in order to use Pennsylvania Fish
    and Boat Commission (PFBC) boat ramps & surrounding property, or DCNR (State Park)
    waterways, you must do one of the following:

    1) Register your boat with the PFBC. Registration cost is $18 for 2 years (plus any processing
    fees charged by the issuing agent.) Canoes are required to display both the 3” x 3” registration
    stickers and the registration number assigned to the boat. Kayaks are required to display only
    the stickers. In both cases, the actual registration card must be carried with the boat as well.
    PFBC registration also covers use of State Park waterways, and in most cases fulfills registration
    requirements for other states you may paddle in. Registration can be done through the PFBC
    office in Harrisburg, PA (717 705-7940, www.fish.state.pa.us), through most county
    courthouses, or through any PFBC certified registration issuing agent. You will need a copy of
    your sales receipt showing that you paid sales tax, for either new or used boats purchased
    through a dealer. A Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin (MCO) is not required for nonpowered
    craft with a retail value of less than $2000.
    Contact the PFBC for registration
    information concerning used boats purchased from a private individual, those purchased from
    out of state, or those that have been owned for a length of time and no longer have paperwork
    available.

    2) Purchase a PFBC Use Permit, available from the same sources listed in #1 above. This permit
    does not require a registration number to be displayed, simply the use permit decals. Cost is
    $10 for one year or $18 for two years (plus any agent fee charged) and covers the use of State
    Park (DCNR) waterways as well. No proof of ownership or title is needed. The PFBC Use
    Permit is valid January 1 – December 1.

    3) Purchase a State Park (DCNR) Launch Permit, available from any State Park office or the
    DCNR Headquarters in Harrisburg, PA (717 787-2869.) Cost is $10 for one year, or $18 for
    two years, and covers the use of all State Park land and waters, as well as PFBC boat ramps and
    surrounding property. The DCNR Launch Permit is valid April 1 to March 31.

    Other PA Fish & Boat Commission Regulations
    PFD’s: Every person (operator or passenger) in a canoe or kayak must have in the boat, readily
    accessible, a Coast Guard approved wearable type I, II, III or suitable type V PFD (life vest) in a
    size appropriate for that person
    (Children: under 30 lbs, 30-50 lbs., 50-90 lbs.; Adult; over 90
    lbs; sized or universal fit.) Children 12 years or under and non-swimmers are required to wear
    their PFD’s. (A “throwable device” or type IV cushion is not required in a canoe or kayak
    regardless of the length of the boat.) Please note that “boat cushions” are no longer acceptable
    as PFD’s.

    Lights: Any non-powered canoe or kayak on the water prior to legal dawn or after legal dusk
    must have on board a hand-held white light, which is to be turned on and held overhead if
    approached by another watercraft, in time to avoid a collision.
    (Motorized canoes must follow
    motorboat requirements – call the PFBC for details.) When anchored in a non-anchorage area
    prior to legal dawn or after legal dusk, an all-round (360°) anchor light must be displayed.

    Whistles: Non-powered boats are required to carry a whistle or other mechanical soundproducing
    device.

    Capacity Plate: Canoes and kayaks, motorized or non-powered, are exempt from capacity
    plate requirements in the State of Pennsylvania.

    Alcohol: Alcohol is prohibited on both land and water at all PA State Parks, and on PFBC
    property. In addition, it is illegal to operate any watercraft (including canoes & kayaks,
    motorized or non-powered) while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance.
    Fines of up to $7500, 2 years in jail, and loss of boating privileges for up to 1 year can be
    imposed if convicted.

    it will just make for good cooking. i wasn't expecting it to be so fresh when i drove up there, but it was either this stuff or an old piano but as much fun as that would be to burn it would go up way to quick. plus after wasting the gas to drive out there i had to bring something back.
