My first project after buying my 07 last week was to replace the interior carpeting. For anyone interested, here is what the inside of the cab looks like without carpet. Very easy to do, took about 2.5 hours total.

Oops sorry for the lack of information in my post. I replaced it with the factory molded carpet directly from the dealer. Didn't take any after pics because its the same as any other 05+ Tacoma DBL. First local dealer wanted $525, second dealer I found was $390. Still damn expensive, but the molded shape fit absolutely perfect to the floorboard.

Idiot dealer cleaned the carpet and then kept the truck closed up. Carpet was nice and moldy......... The wouldn't do a darn thing about it. The brown spots are some kind of sealant.

Did you raise heck about what they did, man that's not right for them to screw it up and then not "try" to fix it. Especially if they were caught red handed in the issue.

the dealer is responsible and they are required to fix it. you can send them the bill for the carpeting. talk to the general manager. if that doesn't work, talk to the regional people. someone will help you. but definitely not the dealer.
i wish somebody made replacement rubber flooring for tacos. i'd put that back in if i had the choice.

Ya the dealer wont do squat.........tried to talk to general manager and anyone else who would listen to me at the delalership. Waited for 1.5 hours with no help at all. I'm thinking of dropping off the old carpet in the middle of the showroom.

Sorry, I thought about taking pics before putting the seats back in, but figured its factory carpeting in a stock vehicle, no big deal to see.

True, but it's still cool to see it with fresh carpeting and nothing else in it.

Riverview toyota wanted $577 for the replacement carpeting. I checked out a few online factory parts websites and found it for $390 something. Turned out it was Earnhardt Toyota down in Mesa. Ordered it Thursday afternoon, picked it up Fri at noon.

PS Riverview is where I bought the truck from. I would not suggest doing business with them. What a bunch of #^%&$*#^$. If I only had enough space to tell my story with them, you would be amazed.
