I will have to agree with both the person who said "never date a smoker" and those who say "once a cheater, always a cheater."

In my experience when someone who smokes needs a smoke literally nothing matters more than that cigarette. I had a student once start a fire in a national forest with his cigarette so I banned tobacco on field trips (including chew as I got tired of cleaning up the damn van). I actually had students take F's because they couldn't not smoke or chew for three hours.

As far as cheating "SO's" it's also been my experience that if they do it once they will always do it again. By giving them a second or third chance you are just reinforcing the negative behavior with a positive reward.

 

I would never go back to a women who cheated on me ever.

I smoke, my girlfriend hates it. Solution? Only smoke while drinking which she agrees with or to and from work or when taking the dog for a shit. Considering the tasks I'm doing and I pay all the bills that entitles me to a damn cigarette.

I find quitting to be fairly easy, it's usually done in times of low finances. Quitting dip is 1000x harder than quitting smoking.

Smoking inside is disgusting. I only smoke outdoors or in my truck all windows down and the rear window open, if I air it out for an hour or so the smoke smell is gone. Not even the girlfriend can smell it after airing the truck out for awhile.

I wouldn't and will never cheat. It's not like you can "accidentally" cheat. It's pretty easy to NOT CHEAT.

If the cheating ended up being sexual it can not be a mistake, like opps sorry my penis fell into you.....People just need to understand that both males and females need attention and when one does not receive it and they get it from somewhere else they need to remember the oath they took when they married the person.

I had a girl cheat on me. I forgave her and tried to work it out, one of the biggest mistakes of my life. I never trusted her again and she cheated on me even after I caught her. The first time someone cheats on you is likely the hardest. After that, it comes a lot easier to them and they are more likely to do it again.

 

What do you mean by sure?? It is true, we all need attention, some more than others but it still does not give you the right to cheat on someone just cause your not getting the right amount.
