truck broke into; thieves entered through side window on camper shell, dropped down shell slider, entered via truck slider which i always leave open, so at least they didnt break any glass. stole my cell, camera, gps, fendi sunglasses and two flashlihghts. at least didn't take my eyeglasses, jackets or tools. ransacked it pretty well though, i feel violated. good thing i didn't catch them, cause i really have a problem with punk thieves. oh well, every thing they got were gifts, so could be a lot worse. but it sure sucks when these lowlifes hit you.

Now you know to not leave windows open and to not keep valuables in your truck.

    Sucks that happened though.

if my truck slider would have been locked, they would have broke it to entered, costing much more. since there is a shell on it, doesnt harmm to leave slighty open....

I got my truck broken into - they scratched the hell out of the panel picking the lock. At least they didn't break the window.

It is frustrating, but what are you gonna do ? Hell is other people.

Yup. I busted our local hoodlums, even though CA encourages privileges for degenerates and losers. It was the first time I ever rode in the back of a police car - they gave me a ride to where they apprehended them and I did the ID. I screwed with those kids in the spot light pretty badly (sit, stand, remove hats, turn around, etc.), intentionally too.

The fact that you live in Tacoma and drive a Tacoma makes your posts a little confusing. :D

My insurance deductible is $300.00, nothing loose in the truck is worth that much. I'm thinking of leaving it unlocked. Never locked my old truck after they broke in the first time. It's not an easy choice.

Libe and learn. I accidentally left mine unlocked in December and had stuff stolen. Nothing big (1St gen iPod Nano, a knife, headphones) but still annoying. Damn near every vehicle I've owner has been broken into.
