Are you talking about your SC10 right? Are those the same size bearings as a "T"? I'm not sure, as I've stated before I know little about those. They need to be WAY bigger, if there not. Today was the first time I've ever driven one. And I know this is not a review type word, but, fuck, (not butt fuck) those things are heavy as hell. I now under stand the need for the 550 size motor. I bet one weighs over twice what a T4 weighs in at.

Yea, I'm talking about the SC10. The Jato is pretty much sold...

Getting $200 outta that P.O.S.... Never been happier!!

I would imagine they're the same as the "T" trucks. Which SC10 did you drive today? SC10RS, SC10FT, 4x4? brushless?

I like to drive my truck without the body and pretend it's a buggy...

I'd be telling a lie if I said which model I drove, It had a belt, (owner said the belt system sucked ass) so it was 4x4, and brushless, not sure what motor/ESC combo was installed "prolly" something pretty hot, knowing this guy. I am pretty sure it wasn't the FT, those were just released, right? Funny you said that about the body, he was trying to make a stupid jump with out his body, claiming, "no way I could make it with the body on", (it was the same fellow in the little vid I posted). But what gave me a chub was those two X-Rays, I kinda liked those, kinda hell, I loved them...

there is also the RPM and Racers Edge rear hubs that let you use a bigger bearing on the SC10, if I remember correctly

I don't if it's just because it's so late.. Or you're a little drunk? But your last few posts have been a buncha sentence fragments sort of thrown together...

But, yes. The 4x4 FT was released pretty recently. And those bodies catch a ridiculous amount of air. They call it the "parachute effect" That's why there are flo-tek bodies and such. I chopped up my stock body after I demolished the front end of it.

Also, just got back from mah first ban! only like 10 minutes...

Ha, a little of both, I'd guess. There does seem to be a few words missing here and the're huh? But, you get the point.

See if it reads a bit better now. Wasn't aware of a grammar test. And yep, my handle of Beam has taken a pretty good hit....

^^Haha. Same here. (last night, anyway)

I need to figure out what size those bearings are and just order bunch of them.. I'd like to have some aluminum hubs, too . . .

I just really wanted to drive today. which.. I guess I could, my right rear would just be wobbling really badly the whole time.

The bearing size is 3/16x3/8, and it does appear they are the same for the SC and the T4. Can't believe those trucks don't have a beefier hub and bearing system. Seems someone made one even for the T series. No wonder you have problems with them.

Good luck. RPM makes some carriers that use a larger bearing on the outside, that carries a much heavier load. That's what I'd look into, instead of alloy ones.

Anyone have recommendations on stronger turnbuckles/tie rods for my SC10?

What were you willing to pay for some alloy ones? I have always used Lundsford Ti turn buckles with RPM heavy duty cups/ends. My buggy still has the factory blue Ti ones. I've seen the factory ones break, but I've had no troubles. The Lundsford ones are way more beefy.
