    Hello everyone,

I'm brand new to Toyota World. I just came over from Jeep Patriot forums when I traded my 2010 jeep in for a 2012 Tacoma.

I apologize for starting a thread thats probably been started 100 times before. I was going to upgrade from the stock tires and was set on BF goodrich all terrains until I started reading some bad reviews about how long they last these days. I'm just wondering if this is the best all around tire or if there is something better out there that will be decent for fuel economy but will stand up if taken off road once in a while.

    Thanks in Advance,

    Shay

Could NOT have said it better.

The BFG A/T's are a 35+ year design. In the last 10+ years, Tire manufactures have been CAD designing their tires for better tration in all conditions, and surfaces. The BFG A/T's have fallen behind.

Good to know guys, that is what I have been seeing on the forums and other pages, but it defied everything I thought I knew about the AT's. Does anyone know what the actual tire size is on a stock 2012 non-TRD truck? How much bigger can one go on that truck? I want to go maybe one size up, but don't want to risk any rubbing offroad.

Looking forward to it! I pick it up tomorrow morning once I get off work. I cannot wait to surprise my girlfriend at the airport with it. :D
