looking for old school!

i have a 93 extra cab 4x4 with a solid axle conv. the "3.0" 3VZ took a dump on me last season of racing. the season starts soon and i cant find one. looking for a doner truck like a 90 to 95 4-runner to purchase. can any body help this desperate racer.

 

I'll sell you my '90 4Runner for $1,750.00. The short block was replaced by Toyota 40,000 miles ago. I had them replace the timing belt, water pump and redo the heads while they were at it. The valves are in need of adjustment though.

The body is hurting, but everything else works perfectly. The interior is in very good condition as well, A/C is ice cold, and all electrical items work flawlessly.

It has a total of almost 190,000 miles on it. I just replaced the clutch and had the flywheel resurfaced. Also did the top shifter and transfercase bushings. It has Downey HD coils in the rear and I tweaked the torsion bars to level it out.

4 nearly new Edelbrock AIS shocks. I will also include a passenger side front door to replace the worst door. Factory running boards are off but will be included. I also replaced the drive flanges up front with Aisin lock out hubs, but it still retains the ADD.

It sounds as if you really only want the motor, but if you are interested in the whole thing, I'd like to pull the stereo and a couple of speakers, and the CB. Stereo is nothing special, but I'd still like to have it.

certainly interested in what you got! could you possibly produce paper work on the work done to the truck? maybe even nagotiate price and parts that i dont need?

 

Not recent ones, but I can take some.

I will have to search for the paperwork. The work was done a Rhorich Toyota in Pittsburgh. The truck needs to leave here in one piece, I'm not interested in parts negotiations, but we can surely negotiate price. I decided to just put the stock stereo back in before the sale.

Hey Marc M, If i could see some paper work i'd be willing to make you a good offer.I can drive up to PA next weekend to make a deal.As far as the stereo goes not really interested in any thing but the engine and drive line.Lets make a deal!
