whats the difference between out of the country LED bars and rigid???

Rigids pricing is higher bc they're 100% in the USA right?

Most of china light bars are junk. My friend found a light bar from China that is very similar to a rigid.

And patents. China doesn't enforce US patents very well. So all the RnD costs raise the US pricing. China based products may be direct reverse engineered products.

Also their sheer manpower causes manufacturing costs to plummet. That really helps keep the costs down. $20hr Tech here is $20 week in China. Work is on par but it costs significantly less. And you can get more people based on sheer population density.

And they also sometimes use lower grade parts to achieve the same effect. Thus lowering the costs even further.

I see this alot with clone lights in the entertainment industry. What costs $20k per light here costs $2k in China for the same light. Open it up and it looks the same till you start comparing components.

They will work in the same specs. But start wavering voltage and they start acting funny.

But that's just my experience with a completely separate industry. ;)

Why would you be switching kits:confused:

No, to run a Uniball on the LCA balljoint location you must have a custom made adapter or a SMS Spindle & their adapter kit:cool:

Well you could get SMS Spindles w/ adapter but that's some $$$

There's a guy over on TTORA who made the switch, look through the Long Travel Gallery over their & you'll find it

Rigid is only assembled in the USA. The parts and internals are assembled overseas and then shipped here which is probably why you see so many Rigidesk Chinese knockoffs.
