here you go. now if I don't wanna rock these on my clears lights since I have BLHM waiting on standby. What's the best way to remove the lids & 3m sticky tape w/o destroying the lids?

    Buy a new set! j/k

I would start with an exacto knife and slice between the lid and lens. It will take a while and you need to be patient with it. When your done you can work the 3M off the back of the lids and lens. Just be careful you don't scratch the lens with the knife.

Option two is to use fishig line to cut the 3m tape. It works as well but again takes patience. You would basically debadge your lids.

These lids are pretty strong, but if pushed too far they will break.

Just be careful, what ever method you use to remove them. It ain't supposed to be easy, otherwise you might loose them to the wind or prying fingers.

Toyota man, have you ever though about selling fenders? You obviously already have someone that does fiberglass work for you. Since allpro stopped manufacturing their 2" wider fenders there is a place for someone to step-up and continue making these/selling these. I know you paint your eyelids before shipping them and i dont know of anyone that paints their fenders before shipping them. You could be the first

Does anybody have any close up pictures of these installed? It looks to me like the lid is not flush with the hood, but that's probably because I am on my phone. Thank you

And is there a noticeable difference with the light being covered up? It seems it gets covered up pretty good, especially with the angry ones. Your input would be helpfull, thank you.

Ok guys, internet provider still hasn't installed the fiber optic cable yet. I am on my phone for now. I will be back at work tomorrow afternoon and have full internet there. I will post pics and answer questions as soon as I get to a computer.

Moving is a pain in the arse.

I have thought about producing these. How much interest would I have in color matched oversized fenders? I have some other fiberglass items for those running aftermarket rear bumpers as well.

Lots of new products are sitting on the bench in various stages of production and drawings. Should have some cool new stuff later this year.

I will take a picture later tonight that is more directly showing on the area of the top of the lid.

Basically the lid can mount anywhere on the top of the light you like. I choose to have it line up with the grill. If you look at the hood, there is a black rubber gasket that seals between it and the lights and grill. I choose to not cover up the gasket and leave it all flat across that area and match the paint up between the grill and the lids. It appears to flow much better when this is done.

As far as light output. You should not notice much if any difference with the lids installed. The reflector bowl lens is mostly left open. The only case that you may notice a slight top end output block would be with the T3 lid. But Frankly I don't think you will notice it.

If you have more questions, let us know.:D:D

I have not received the first pair for the 2012's yet. I should have them this next week.

Yes the dtrl is much higher on the new model trucks. This is why the 2012 eyelids will only be avaliable in the sleeper and T1 style. The lower cuts will not fit the newer light design.

As soon as I have them in my hand, I will post pic's for everybody to see them.

Here are some pics for you all to view. First off is group 5's lids finished and waiting for the box.

    081_747e96b732d72938f316c7911a2cfdd1f5b5dcc6.jpg

Next is some picture of placement of the lids. You can see the rubber weather stipping I was talking about in the top of the photo. This part is visable between the grill, lights and the hood. I matched my lids to follow the lines of the grill and have them just flow into the lid. If you wanted to move the lid up to be flush with the hood you could, but I think it would look funny.
