I'm looking at purchasing 285/75/16's to be mounted on ATX Artilleries.
I am being told that the GoodYear Wrangler Duratrac tire can not be installed black wall out. White raised lettering out only. Not cool....:(
Any thoughts or experiences on this would be appreciated?
    Thanks.

I call bullshit on whoever told you that..i can not see the side wall to see the mounting directions, but looking at the tred it does NOT look directional. The only reason why someone would tell you that is because the DOT number and date is on the whitewall side. It is not against the law or anything to not show the date of the DOT. You can have it blackwall out

The salesman was obviously from the 1980's and has time traveled to current day, wal-mart, to try and stop the black wall out revolution.
