i detailed the truck yesterday and spent a lot of time cleaning the wheels. my truck sat all night in the garage and as i was about to head out this morning my truck would not move. the rear wheels were locked!!!! i tried everything from flooring the gas to engaging the 4wd...still no luck. after a lot of cussing, i called toyota care to have the truck towed to the dealership. in the mean time i jumped on tacomaworld and found some threads about others who have had the same problem. I read that problem could be solved by engaging and disengaging the e-brake 4-5 times. I did just that and IT WORKED!!! just as i was jumping out of my truck to lock up the house and head out...the tow truck driver showed up. i told him what had happened and we both laughed. i just wanted to say MAHALO (thanks) to everyone who puts their time in on this website. tacomaworld has not only helped me go broke, but saved me the headache of taking this truck to the shop today. MAHALO again!!! :D
