    I find all sorts of new scratches and chips... bothers the hell out of me. Just finished doing my truck and found a couple more scratches and what looks to be a decent size chip on the lower driver side door.I think every time I detail my truck I find at least a couple things. Anyone else get bothered by this after spending all the time to clean there truck?

    Don't wash the truck in the sun? :notsure:

    I can't wash mine in the sun, it dries too quickly and leaves waterspots.

    Worst part about detailing the truck, the sore shoulder the next day (no power buffers for me)...

    Same thing happens to me, when I park at work I am a good 20 parking spaces from other cars and I still find some marks.

    I agree with you there, I have been able to fix quite a few right after I notice them but some are not quite that easy to fix.

    When I detail my truck I usually spend no less than 6+ hours detailing the inside and outside. Sore shoulder the next day is usual, the finding of scratches and chips is also usual, both are frustrating but the fucking worst is right after I get done detailing my truck for 6+ hours is when either a sibling or friend or whatever spills something, or gets into my truck with muddy/dirty ass feet...

    If the scratches are light and not past the clear coat buff them out with a nice rubbing compound I use turtle wax rubbing compound and it does a good job getting most scuffs and light scratches out.
