The older wiper stalks are marked the other way, I put an '05 talk in mine, and its opposite yours. I'll trade you straight across for a non-intermittant stalk, and I'll pay shipping one way.

Our 06 4Runner is the same way. The 4Runner was opposite of our Malibu and it used to drive me crazy. Now my 2012 taco matches the 4Runner.

Yeah, I found this a bit annoying at first. That and the fact that I have to flip the arm opposite of what I'm used to for a quick swipe. 99% of the time I end up turning them on when I don't want to. I figure after a couple more years of driving the Taco I should be used to it by then.

All of my previous toyotas have had it the right way except for this one...on the other hand, all my friends tacomas have this...both first and second gens...

91 Corolla (first car and had 250k before the reverse went out and I sold it)
    99 Camry (traded at 125k)
    05 Camry (traded at 85k)
2010 Camry (traded at 7k because I wanted a truck... Didn't need it, just wanted it)

Had the opportunity to verify mine this morning.

    Yup.

Turning "up" to the wider stripe is a longer delay.

My 12's is definitely backwards and different than my '05 was. Widest part of the diagram is a short delay and the thinnest part of the diagram is a long delay. Slightly annoying, but tolerable. I may look at the wiring diagram and see if I can swap wires.

I never looked at it just turned it to what works best. Where would you put it if it had no marks?
