well this is the first time ive ever driven a car, ahem i mean truck, and every other car just like mine either high beams or waves at me. its pretty cool in a way since usually if u have the same car as someone they tend to speed away from you. ahaha tacos unite!:D

The first couple days I had it...people were wavin. But now..all I see are grey haired old men and I don't think they even notice my truck till after they've passed me.

Now you know what it feels like to have a jeep Wrangler and a corvette. They always wave to eachother

When I had my WRX other WRX people were always honking or waving at me. I havent had anyone wave at the taco yet but I always look over towards others when I see them, just incase.:)

Yeah it was cool when we had our Jeep. You almost felt bad if you didn't notice in time to wave. Love my Tacoma but still wish we had our Jeep

    Waving is fun....

I used to wave to tacoma people..... but they just didn't *get it*. It's rare that I see another taco driving around. A lot of old folks.... and rare to see a young person. And even so - when you see a young person, they're just not *enthusiasts*. Sometimes I wonder if they'd even notice another tacoma passed them.

Eh.... no one flashes, waves, or honks at me... Then again, this is NY... Honking gets you flipped off......or shot.

I always look over at the other truck, but we don't wave. My wife and I laugh at the guys on bikes waving to each other. Especially when they seem more focused on that than doing to the speed limit, or watching where they're going. Reminds us of those corny boating commercials where they all wave to each other.

I usually only wave if it is another Speedway Blue taco. But then I am one of those "old gray haired men" that Janster refers to. :D And she's right...most people just don't get it.

Here in Iowa, if you're on a backroad or a gravel road and meet another truck (any make), it's a hanging offense if you don't give them a wave or at least a head nod. ;)

Yeah, I had a Jeep Wrangler once. Quite the brotherhood there. Always a wave....except the teeny-bopper girls. They just don't get it.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
i usually count tacos as i go to work...i seperate them by generations as well...i usually see like 3-4 2nd gens and 5-6 1st gens in the 6 miles to my work. gotta love those army people buying tacos. and when me and the wife are in the truck, we still play the "taco punch" game.

Nobody ever waves to me in my Tacoma. There does seem to be a mutual admiration of each others Tacos, shared only in a glance.
When I had my Xb there were a lot of waves and flashing of lights, at least til they grew more common.

Yeah no waves here in Rochester, Tiger is right, is incurs trouble when one waves in this state, I still have a lot hate thrown my way, one of my good friends told me that he hopes I have nothing but trouble with it, and another one said that if he was stranded on the side of the road that he would not get in if I pulled over to help. :( I glad I have you guys, it's getting kind of rough where I'm at.

You could move a little further south! :D There's a 1st gen or older across the street, and a couple indigo Ink DC's in town. One of those belongs to a bus driver like my FIL so he used to get confused until I got the cap on mine. Neighbors more or less could care less about other people. lol Been here almost a year now and only met the people on one side of us. heh I don't care. They leave me the F alone and don't try borrowing tools or asking me to do shit. :D

Not that I would shoot anyone over a honk or wave, but I've had a few people flip out just giving a quick honk cuz the light turned green and they're staring at the steering wheel. Oh, and there's a reason I want a steel plate bumper and sliders, and it has nothing to do with off roading!

I haven't had it happen to me in my taco, When I drive my VW bug its almost a given that you wave at other air cooled VWs.
