NorCal folks, I think I'm gonna go tomorrow and help search for this girl. The HQ is Burnett Elementary School at 85 Tilton Ave, Morgan Hill, starts at 8AM but you can show up later up until 1pm.
Anyone else in the area want to help? Carpool? I'm going down 680 from Concord to SJ/Morgan Hill.

Edit: Search days are this Saturday and Sunday

Dam if I can get off work early I'll join, I always wanted to go on the searches for Michelle Le as she and I have mutual friends and I met her once. Unfortunately work always conflicted with the search parties. Things don't look well for Sierra though..I hope for the best.

Excuse my ignorance but what's the story behind this? I wish I could help man! I can't miss work tho. :(

That sucks! My prayers go out to her and her family. I hope she's found soon.

Spent the day as part of a search team searching a lake at a county park. 500 people showed up to search today, I'm going back probably Friday and Saturday. Very sad.

Is there a number we can call? Maybe there's other ways for us to help?

I was impressed with Mark Klass and his foundation, he brought a whole crew of organizers, all volunteers who are working very hard to coordinate with the local Sheriffs, the community, the media as well as Seirra's family. They are providing the backbone of the effort. Mark himself came out to the line of folks waiting and shook everyone's hand and thank them for coming to help. I would suggest making a donation to his foundation. Here's the link.

Babytruck, I'm going to ask the Klass people if there is any motels offering discounts to searchers, I would like to stay in a motel Saturday night rather than use all the gas going back and forth, if you are thinking Sunday I'll text you and let you know if i am staying down there ok?

Sounds good. But figure how much a motel would be on a Sat night vs. gas...

I contacted the Klass Foundation to see if they have any discounts with any motels to put searchers up. Motel 6's in the area are probably about $60-65 a night, cheaper than gassing the Tacoma for a round trip.

No way. That's a full tank! Are you lead footing it? A full tank would last me over a week going 30 miles per day to and fro work PLUS running errands on my day off. I thought auto would save gas over a manual??
