once the jack is under the lower control amr and the spring is compressed even 1/4" you can take the middle nut off the strut tower which will release the the spring from the the strut. then SLOWLY lower the lower control arm to take the pressure off the spring

 

sorry, we have the spring compressor on the spring outside of the LCA, he's compressed it quite a bit.

well tell that midget fucker to take the spring compressor off you don't need it.

 

It's all compressed in the compressor right now, mark is sending a pic right now.

more than enough.... take the top plate off!

 

get a 8 or 10 mm box end wrench to hole the threaded part while you use another wrench to take the nut off

so we have the spring on the strut, now it looks like rubber stopper is to big for the nut to go on the end? do we just not use the rubber stopper?
