i don't think i said anything when you posted pictures last, but that thing has some really nice tube work in it.

 

what are the symptoms of an alternator overcharging??

My lights get brighter for a few seconds and my AC blows harder at the same time...then it cuts back to normal.

Kinda freaking me out.

And I had a headlamp go out...and because of the sealed beams I have to replace the whole units.

Anyone?? I made a thread in the 1st gen section...but no dice.

 

well...dad stopped by today and dropped off a few things/made final adjustments...on schedule for pickup tomorrow.

then I get to wire the thing wednesday.

hopefully.....

but yeah the dudes a beast..and the welds are fantastic. ill get some pictures when we get it back. beautiful tower tho..love the lines..

thers going to be a full seat up top as well. 8 rod holders in 2 rows of 4 across the back of the tower.

Thats what i said yesterday, but i included the shipping option.

 

Well it seems as if my blower motor is having an issue...its either that or the switch...but the only speed my blower has is high..weird.

 

It's the blower resistor, there is a TSB out there to fix that. Replaced the reisitor with the updated one and get a GM reisitor plug to replace the factory plug.

 

Anyone needing a cheap laptop?

If you are good with splicing wires, it's an easy fix. Only 4 wires, cut the old connector off and splice the new one in line, just make sure to connect the wires in the correct order as the GM plug has different color wires than toyotas. I can get you a price on the resistor and the plug if you want.

 

plug sounds easy enough. im good with splicing.

is the resistor just like an inline thing?
