    A roadie? I thought everyone in this area was mainly on mountain bikes... I rode the triple bypass in 2010, but that was the last big ride I did. Just went for my first ride of the season this past weekend. It was only 27 miles, but it kicked my butt, haha.

    Start doing exercises that strengthen your knees, instead of avoiding exercises that use them.

    I also starting working out in shoes that are flat, almost like being barefoot. These help my knees because I know how my feet are and I can feel how my weight is distributed better.
